Jason Larson

Jason graduated from Brandon Valley High School in 1990.  After earning two letters on the Cross Country team during his freshman and sophomore years, Jason turned his attention to the football team where he also earned two letters.  As a Tight End, Jason played a huge part in helping the Lynx to state championships in back-to-back seasons.  He left his mark on the record books as a senior with three touchdown receptions in one game and ten touchdown receptions for the season.  On the basketball court, Jason led his team in scoring and rebounding while helping the Lynx to a 24-3 record, a number one ranking all season, and a third place finish at the state tournament a 90-85 triple-overtime thriller in the final game.  Jason etched his name in the basketball record books with 1,204 career points and a 21.6 points per game average in his senior season.  He was a four-year letter winner, a three-time All Big 8 Conference selection, and All State selection his senior year, and a Mr. Basketball finalist.  On the Track and Field team, he helped the Lynx in many ways as a versatile performer while earning two letters.

Jason went on to a successful football career at the University of South Dakota and then finished with success on the football and basketball teams at Sioux Falls College.

Jason has many favorite memories, including the football championships, the basketball third-place game against Aberdeen Central, and the amazing fan support throughout all Lynx activities.
